Added two new reviews in the RIOT ACT section. Atmosphere gives us some lemons and the elderly Testament show some old man strength with their first release in 7 years!
We've been having some technical difficulties with our email system here at WD. We're working hard to iron it out, so if you haven't received your orders its because WE didn't receive them! Apparently a hacker hacked into our email system and rerouted any orders to who the fuck knows where. But rest easy, you will get your orders or your money back, that's a promise. Just please be patient.

MORE ALBUM REVIEWS, THE SALE IS STILL ON AND WHO WANTS TO GET CHOKED OUT???
Soon. Very soon you will actually get to see these changes we’re all hyping up here at WDS. It’s a slow go, but we’re actually trying to do it right this time so bear with us. In the meantime I hope you are enjoying the updates to the RIOT ACT which have been a bit more frequent than in the past you’ll notice. It’s the end of April. Some of us are getting their tax returns and spending them responsibly. Putting it away into savings, investing a good some into a 401k, etc… Others, will blow it all on cheap women, fast cars, tattoos and maybe even blow some in the MERCH section. Hell, we’re running a 50% sale till the end of May!!! This year I’m trying to be responsible but I think Las Vegas needs me to visit very soon. Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying the Spring weather and getting ready for the summer. Not much in this minor update. Four albums are under the spotlight in the RIOT ACT . Staten Island local fan-favorites, Avon Junkies have their first full length out, The Merchants Tale. Disfear gets it right with Live the Storm and both The Sword and Bloodsimple put out some serious sophomoric efforts. Go check it out!

Anyone catch the St. Pierre vs Serra fight? If you haven’t you missed George St. Pierre whip Strong Island’s finest, Matt Serra in two rounds. I gotta try and get an interview with one of these guys. This UFC/MMA stuff is pretty damn exciting. It makes boxing look like two kids slap fighting in the schoolyard. I’ll be down in Atlantic City the weekend of May 9th to see a lower level MMA bout at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. Should be a great time, plus, its my birthday weekend. Come on out and wear some WDS gear. I’ll buy you a drink.
This summer should be a good one for music and shows. Got my tickets to Cruefest and Rancid already. I’ll be at the ROBOTS WILL KILL booth for Bamboozle helping out my good friend Chris. That’s always a fun weekend.

DATING SYNDICATE STYLE!!!!
Love is in the air here at the Syndicate! With all of the changes going on here I guess it was bound to happen. Sometimes you need a good kick in the ass to really tug on the ol heartstrings right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it’s a couple of months late and Valentine’s Day was in February. But you can’t beat what WDS has on tap for you in this update! WDS is doing a three part series in the RIOT ACT on dating and relationships. Three different perspectives will be looked at and maybe, just maybe, you’ll read something that will score you a decent date and get you off the couch on a Saturday night! Don’t thank us. STATE OF THE DISUNION AT WDS (AND ALBUM REVIEWS OF PARKWAY DRIVE, TOO PURE TO DIE, MICHALE GRAVES, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, AND BURY YOUR DEAD)
Hello underworld! There’s a lot of questions out there surrounding the Syndicate so I’ll take this time to address some of them. One, no we have not gone under, been bought out, or sold any rights to anyone. Two, over the next few months there will be some changes occurring that will be visible on the website. Three, yes, we are slowly phasing out the WHITE DEVIL name for marketing reasons. No one seems to understand the tongue in cheekness of it. So look for the WD logo to fully represent the Syndicate and all its evilness.
What else do you, as a fan of WDS have to look forward to? More album reviews. More rants and blogs about anything and everything. More interviews with artists, musicians and anyone else that might tickle your fancy. More new, in your face, t-shirt and clothing designs. And of course…more chicks rockin the new swag. Put that in your spank bank!

Metal act ALL THAT REMAINS are in the studio writing for a new album. No release date posted yet but the band will be performing at this summer’s WARPED TOUR . While you’re at it, give them your vote for Boston’s Best Metal Act. Since that city didn’t win a Super Bowl they might as well get something worth their while right? Yeah…I went there.

AGNOSTIC FRONT, THE AGONIST, THE SHOWDOWN AND AN INTERVIEW WITH THE ONE AND ONLY DEVIL DOLL!!!!!
Happy New Year from the Syndicate! 2008 is barely out its diapers but its shaping up to be quite a year already. Some quick music news first:
New York hardcore legends H20 are in the studio as we speak recording a new album! They recently signed to Bridge 9 Records and expect the new album (produced by Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory) to be out this coming May.
In other hardcore news,Sick of it All and Madball kick off their East Coast Tour with Death Before Dishonor,Wisdom in Chains and The Unseen (some dates I think).
Do Something, the national not-for-profit that makes it possible for teens to change the world is partnering with the Hopeless/Sub City Records Take Action! Tour to offer $500 grants to young people who want to make change in their communities.
The Take Action Grants, empowered by MySpace Impact, the Hot Topic Foundation and Hopeless/Sub City Records, will focus on Poverty, Music Education or any other cause young people are passionate about. The Take Action! Tour, an annual charity tour kicking off this February, will feature Everytime I Die , From First to Last, The Bled, August Burns Red and The Human Abstract.
Full Blown Chaos premiered a video for Halos for Heroes and its pretty badass!

THY WILL BE DONE, CALIBAN, DEVIL DOLL, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, AVENGED SEVENFOLD....AND BAD RELIGION ALL IN THIS UPDATE!
It’s been a while since I updated the front page of the site… I know, I know. I’m a very bad person. You’ll forgive me though. You always do. Mindless saps you are. I kid, I kid. Things have been heating up around the Syndicate with a lot of “STUFF” in the works. I’m working on the very first Syndicate sponsored concert. While it’s in its very minor stages, it’s sure to be a rager. Make sure you check back here for more updates on that. Also, a new sweatshirt design is in the works and will hopefully be out in time for Christmas.
For now we bring you a slew of reviews. Syndicate friends, DEVIL DOLL dropped a new album. They are touring as you read this so make sure you check them out when they hit your town. Tell them we sent ya and maybe Devil Doll herself might just give you a kiss on the cheek…maybe.
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME released their new album, Colors and reminded me of a heavier Pink Floyd. Stoners rejoice! More friends of the Syndicate, THY WILL BE DONE, debuted their first album and can be described in two words…HOLY SHIT! German metal mongers CALIBAN shipped their new album stateside and Southern California rockers AVENGED SEVENFOLD are back at it, but is it any good? Read all about these releases in the RIOT ACT. Also, if you haven’t checked out the photos from the BAD RELIGION show at the Nokia Theater in NYC, make sure you do so.
As the holidays approach make sure you do what’s right and grab those loved ones and let them know how much they mean to you. Hell even we at the Syndicate can get jolly… so fuck off!
